In 2014, Dakang Agriculture raised 5 billion Yuan through a private placement. Pengxin Group became its new controlling shareholder. In 2016, Dakang Agriculture formally changed its name (formally called Hunan Dakang Farming Co., Ltd.), determined its two domains (farming + food) and five core business divisions (grain trade, beef cattle, dairy and mutton sheep). Its business has spread all over China, Brazil, New Zealand, Myanmar, Laos, and many other countries.
